Crosswalk, the event cinema division of Bleecker Street, along with Universal Pictures Content Group (UPCG), has secured the rights to bring Stray Kids : The dominATE Experience to cinemas worldwide. This concert film captures the explosive performances from the group's sold-out shows at the iconic SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
Under this exciting deal, Crosswalk will handle the theatrical release in North America, while UPCG will manage international distribution across most of the globe. The exceptions? South Korea, China, and Japan. Mark your calendars because a global theatrical rollout, including exclusive Imax engagements, is planned for early 2026!
This film, produced by Live Nation Studios, is more than just a concert recording. It's a comprehensive experience, blending stunning concert footage from Stray Kids' dominATE world tour with exclusive behind-the-scenes glimpses. The film is directed by the talented Paul Dugdale, known for his work on Adele's One Night Only and Taylor Swift's Reputation Stadium Tour. Adding another layer of depth, documentary segments are directed by Farah X, known for The Remix: Hip Hop x Fashion.
The deal was orchestrated by Miranda King and Avy Eschenasy for Bleecker Street, Ingrid Pittana for UPCG, and Ross Putman representing Live Nation.

Helen Parker, EVP at UPCG, emphasized their vision to position the release as a major global theatrical event, capitalizing on the group's international fanbase and the rising demand for concert films outside traditional music markets.
This move comes at a time when K-pop concert films are experiencing a surge in popularity, especially across Asia and in select Western markets. Films featuring groups like BTS, BLACKPINK, and NCT have already achieved impressive per-screen averages in South Korea, Japan, and Southeast Asia. These successes, often enhanced by premium formats and limited-run engagements, demonstrate the potential of these films. Distributors are increasingly viewing these projects as low-risk ventures, leveraging the built-in engagement of dedicated fanbases.
Ryan Kroft, the head of film and TV at Live Nation Studios, explained that the project aims to recreate the scale of Stray Kids' live performances within the theatrical experience, combining the thrill of the concert with the intimacy of behind-the-scenes access.
