On December 7th, coinciding with the 2025 season finale in Abu Dhabi, Apple unveiled a sneak peek via social media. The advert showcases what fans can expect: onboard driver cameras, the ability to watch multiple views simultaneously (Multiview), and a glimpse of the live leaderboard on supported devices.
This exciting partnership was officially announced in October 2025, marking a five-year deal between Formula 1 and Apple. This collaboration follows the success of the Apple Original Film, F1 The Movie, starring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris.
Stefano Domenicali, F1's CEO, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "This is an incredibly exciting partnership for both Formula 1 and Apple that will ensure we can continue to maximise our growth potential in the US with the right content and innovative distribution channels." He also highlighted their existing collaboration on F1 The Movie. Domenicali emphasized their shared vision to attract new fans through live broadcasts and engaging content.
Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of services, added that they are "thrilled to expand our relationship with Formula 1 and offer Apple TV subscribers in the US front-row access to one of the most exciting and fastest-growing sports on the planet." He highlighted the transformative nature of the 2026 season with new teams, regulations, and cars. Apple aims to deliver innovative, fan-focused coverage.
